We are proud to work with a range of local suppliers to bring you the highest quality produce from the Waveney Valley and the Broads.
Our award-winning meat and poultry supplier, Pepperells has been established in the Waveney Valley since 1965. They’ve developed a reputation that’s second-to-none for supplying the finest local meats - including Blythburgh pork, local lamb & beef and poultry.
Penny Bun Bakehouse
Our bread is supplied by John Spillings at The Penny Bun Bakehouse. Having trained as a chef for over 12 years in some of the UK’s top Michelin star restaurants, John returned home to Suffolk to open a bakery and pursue his goal of getting traditional, handcrafted bread back on the British menu.
E.S. Burroughs & Son
Our farm fresh eggs are laid by the Burroughs family’s free range hens, which roam the pastures just 2 miles from the Waveney Inn. Their eggs are stocked in our shop too, and you can buy raw milk direct from the farm at Wheatacre Hall Barns.
Sam Cole - Fish Merchant
Our Fish is supplied by the Sam Cole Food Group. This family-owned local fish merchant has been at the heart of Lowestoft’s fishing industry for over 80 years.
Alburgh Ice Cream
Lucie Morran makes her irresistible ice cream in the Waveney Valley village of Alburgh, using locally sourced ingredients including milk from a small local pedigree herd of Guernsey cows - famous for their luxuriously creamy milk.
We are proud to serve Adnams ales - based in Southwold, just across the border in Suffolk, Adnams has been brewing great beer since 1872. And there's no better place to drink it than the Waveney Inn!
